    This role will operate at the heart of the Dublin Airport business supporting the Head of Strategy - Dublin Airport to ensure that individual business unit strategies are fully aligned to the set and approved Dublin Airport strategy.

    Reporting to and working closely with Head of Strategy you will be involved in the definition, documentation and assisting with the planning and completion of projects, company-wide adoption of initiatives, and relevant bodies of analysis. This is a varied role that suits an individual with ambition to build a career within strategy, project management or consulting. This role requires curiosity toward developing and communicating a vision to be at the cutting edge of strategy and innovation for the future. The role has clear objectives which will enable the strategy team to make an immediate and lasting impact on the business.


    • This role requires 5-8 years’ experience in a business role
    • Relevant 3rd level business degree in Consulting, Economics, Finance, or related field. Relevant experience also considered.
    • Self-starter with proven ability to meet targets and deadlines while maintaining focus on vision and purpose of work outputs, not just activities. Ability to develop, plan, and implement short- and long-term goals.
    • Ability to manage diverse work-streams, prioritise effectively and work to shifting deadlines
    • Proven organisational skills with project management knowledge and ability. Project management qualification beneficial but not required.
    • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel to intermediate/ advanced level
    • Analytical mind-set with effective problem-solving skills and a firm foundation in research and statistics
    • Adept at translating data from a range of sources into insights and actions that deliver commercial benefits at both micro and macro levels in various business areas and industry subsets. Financial and accounting acumen preferred.
    • Ability to work well with and influence large groups – as well as to work well independently
    • Confident communicator (verbal and written) with a proven ability to communicate effectively at all levels. Must possess certain leadership skills that allow him / her to command attention and achieve credibility in a short period of time. Exceptional customer relationship management skills
    • Experience in or familiarity with methods for increasing user adoption of new initiatives. Strong change management knowledge. Supportive of people and initiatives.
    • Experience managing and developing a team.
    • Flexibility to perform tasks outside of normal course of work when needed
    • Proven commitment to daa values and strategic targets with evident goal orientation
    • Knowledge of the aviation market as well as other commercial environments and their interconnections and associated challenges will be an advantage



    • Work with the Head of Strategy, supporting an array of strategic initiatives.
    • Project manage from planning to delivery of strategic implementation programmes as well as collection of inputs from strategy design and decision-making. Provide full high-level admin support to projects as required. Ensure activities are co-ordinated and balanced to meet the needs of the organisation and unit. 
    • Develop a close working relationship with key internal and external stakeholders to drive engagement with and participation in strategy and change programmes across Dublin Airport. Ability to make data simple for a wider audience.
    • Organise and co-ordinate events, workshops, and supporting strategic communications and engagement sessions. Ensure that message quality, format, and content meet the target objectives and are consistent with company-wide communication guidelines
    • Gather, analyse and provide information across the business to spread corporate knowledge and on a project-basis as needed, promoting the use of data and analytics to drive efficiencies in the business.
    • Review process optimisation for the Executive Management Team. Advise on organisation structure and value optimisation measures in close collaboration with other activity lines including Finance, Commercial, Operations, Economic Regulation. Experience in risk analysis a key advantage.
    • Identify opportunities to deliver year-on-year business improvements.
    • Develop complex models – Excel-based primarily
    • Undertake regular benchmarking to define best practices and ensure that leading practices are shared across the organisation. Undertake research to understand and apply industry trends.
    • Assess business plans and financial metrics for projects on an ongoing basis
    • Develop an ambitious leadership-focused team which supports the wider organisation
    • Support the wider Dublin Airport general management team as and when needed
