    ARI is currently looking for a Project Manager who will be responsible for providing both ecommerce project management as well as ecommerce business implementation guidance working directly with business teams and implementation partners. This position will report to the eCommerce Business Owner (Head of eCommerce)

    The successful candidate will be working with business teams such as Marketing, Retail Operations, eCommerce, Finance, Buying etc. This is not a technical role. The successful candidate will have worked on the business side of successful eCommerce projects in previous roles.

    The Project manager will be measured on delivery of tasks & objectives in line with agreed timelines, budget and objectives. The Project Manager will work closely with the business owner to maintain high-levels of customer satisfaction throughout the project implementation, to meet business requirements and to communicate plans, achievements and risks to the Steering Committee, project teams and wider business.



    • 5+ years of experience managing business projects, preferable in the Ecommerce arena
    • Experience managing medium to large sized interrelated projects, preferable with Demandware / Salesforce Commerce Cloud
    • Technical understanding of web technologies javascript, xml etc is desirable.
    • Advanced knowledge of the Project Mgt Lifecycle and experience with at least one of the following industry recognized methodologies/frameworks: Waterfall and Agile /SCRUM.
    • Ability to coordinate multiple medium sized projects at the Project level or one or two large projects
    • Demonstrated negotiation, conflict management and leadership skills.
    • Experience with using MS Project, Excel, Powerpoint and all MS office tools
    • Proven ability to develop and maintain effective internal and external business relationships with various levels of customer management teams.
    • Experience working with, and or coordinating the efforts of multiple parties.
    • Ability to manage forecast / pipeline and reflect a true position with date driven deadlines.
    • Excellent communication, presentation, organizational and planning skills.
    • Excellent understanding of English (communication and writing).
    • Excellent interpersonal skills to work as a team member and customer liaison.
    • Negotiation and diplomacy skills in managing customer and internal issues.
    • Strong communication skills with excellent writing and presentation skills.
    • Ability to quickly build trusted advisor relationships with stakeholders
    • Excellent analytical skills and high aptitude with ability to learn quickly
    • High motivation. Will do whatever it takes to ensure customer and company success
    • Good team player that can work effectively with peers across functions.
    • Robust analytic skills, including data analysis and interpretation skills with the ability to effectively use data to drive recommendations
    • Ability to communicate and manage tasks across multiple time zones and across different locations simultaneously.


    • Ensure on time and on budget delivery of projects while also ensuring that project governance are properly adhered to during the execution of the project.
    • Build a project plan which includes task identification, resource scheduling, risk assessment and issue management & mitigation, communication and status reporting.
    • Track utilization of project resources and manage this against the resource allocation and budget.
    • Collaborate and coordinate the project scope through effective change control with the stakeholders.
    • Manages the High-Level Design & Detailed design Process and Statement of Work process
    • Able to manage several small to medium sized interrelated projects requiring complex cross-functional collaboration and management at the programme level.
    • Communicates Project status and progress to stakeholders effectively using RAG process.
    • During a project, be the primary interface and perform project management activities that ensures adherence to the methodology and governance.
    • Perform effective project close-out at the completion of the project which includes customer satisfaction assessment, launch assessment readiness, handoff to Business as Usual Teams and Support, lessons learned and other project close-out activities.
