  • Overview

    An excellent opportunity has arisen within the HR team for an Employee Experience Manager. The purpose of this role is the implementation of employee relations strategies in the areas of employee experience, facilities, equality, attendance and other employee relations matters as required. This role reports directly to the Senior Relationship Manager – IR/ER.

    • The successful candidate must satisfy one or more of the below criteria (two or more is desirable):
    • Qualified to degree level in Business, Psychology, HR or a similar discipline
    • A minimum of 2-3 years experience delivering work related to improving employee engagement
    • A minimum of 2-3 years experience of influencing stakeholders to deliver on key requirements associated with business strategies
    • A CIPD qualification is desirable but not essential
    • Excellent relationship management skills and experience dealing with internal and external stakeholders
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Positive disposition and resilient under pressure
    • Seeks ownership, responsibility and is proactive in approach

    • Develop an effective employee voice and to build strong and respectful working relationships with unions, local HR Managers and third parties.
    • Assist in developing and implementing strategies in relation to employee experience including through improved facilities.      
    • Act as Equality Officer for the Company and ensure policies on such matters as respect and dignity are updated and implemented.
    • Assist the IR case manager to ensure all cases are processed efficiently
    • Assist local HR Managers on specific ER/IR issues which arise.
    • Represent the Company at internal and external forums as needed and to advocate at third parties on the Company’s behalf when required.
    • Co-ordinate such activities impinging on employee relations as needed
    • Participate in organisational projects and cross functional groups whether on secondment or otherwise and, in particular, to provide professional HR and IR inputs to such projects.
