    The role

    This role will lead the eCommerce team, working closely with the ARI Global Marketing business unit, holding key responsibility for the overall management for the Global eCommerce service. It will manage the development & implementation of the Global eCommerce Strategy and ensure the company’s web presences is customer focused and in keeping with the ARI brand promise of ‘Customer Experience is Everything’. The role will lead the eCommerce strategy with senior management, securing the budget and resources to achieve the online retail business plan including P&L goals and customer acquisition targets.

     

    Qualifications

     

    • 7+ years in a similar role managing multiple sites preferably using Salesforce, formally Demandware
    • A degree in either Marketing, Business, Technology, Ecommerce or Digital Marketing
    • Demonstrable experience of managing an eCommerce site, P&L and a team working across UX, Graphic Design, Digital Marketing and Operations
    • Technically adept and excellent understanding of the eCommerce technology landscape
    • Expert understanding of Digital Marketing, content management processes, eCommerce systems development and management.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence stakeholders cross functionally and at all levels
    • Strong track record in motivating and performance managing a team.
    • Ability to manage projects, from definition of requirements, through development and testing
    • Expert at managing third party creative and technology partners
    • Experience managing end-to-end Customer Experience

     

    Responsibilities

     

    Operational

    • Implement sales process to ensure achievement of targets
    • Responsible for KPI weekly and monthly reports on progress against annual eCommerce plan
    • Implement an agreed set of KPIs and deliverables for each supplier
    • Responsible for all digital media campaigns (PPC, Display and Social) and the related ROI
    • Accountable for the user experience and graphic design of ARI websites
    • Ensure the websites are appropriately localised for international audiences, in particular Chinese customers
    • Oversee the fraud and payments processes underpinning the sites
    • Manage the roadmap of functional changes with the systems integrator, internal IT, payment processor and eCommerce Platform Provider
    • Responsibility for managing the maintenance of the ARI retail website(s) including online events, new product launches, seasonal sales and promotions

     

    Strategic

    • Perfect the end to end Customer Experience through the use of data and customer research, with particular attention to the order management and picking process used in each airport
    • Work closely with Director of Marketing to ensure eCommerce strategy is agreed across ARI and Business Units
    • Assess and prioritise new business opportunities to deliver mid-term growth
    • Create and optimise an Operating Model for the management of ARI partner airport websites, growing from two sites in 2019 to potentially ten sites in 2021
