    daa SSC in Limerick

    Dublin Airport Authority (daa) employs 3,300 people at its Irish airports and has a further 800 people working for its international businesses. We have a specialist Finance Shared Service centre based in the National Technology Business Park in Limerick (directly beside the University of Limerick) where over 70 employees are based in various teams specialising in Employee Services & Payroll, Time and Attendance Management, Accounts Payable, Billing and Revenue Assurance, Financial Reporting, Customer Service etc. The campus is located just 6 km east of Limerick City on the Dublin Road and parking is available onsite.


    This role

    The daa Shared Service Centre (SSC) in Limerick processes payroll for over 3,000 daa employees based in Ireland. There are currently 4 other employees working in similar core Payroll focused roles and this group sits as part of a wider Employee Services & Payroll team of 8 in Limerick. The core focus of this role will be around ensuring all amendments to the employees pay records are processed accurately and on time, and that all payrolls are run and paid when due. You will be liaising with employees and HR Business Partners and other individuals across the company to ensure employees are paid accurately, on time, every time.


    This role will suit someone with circa 2-3 years’ experience working in another high volume core Payroll role (this experience can come from either a large MNC/SSC type environment or from a smaller SME). This Employee Services & Payroll role will initially be offered as a 24-month contract. Although this is a contract role you will gain great experience during your time here and given the size of the SSC in Limerick other opportunities may arise after this contract expires.     • 2-3 years’ experience working in a similar core Payroll role
    • Proven ability to accurately input data relating to employees pay and benefit
    • Excellent customer service skills
    • Proven ability to use one’s own initiative and work to strict deadlines



    • iPass qualification
    • Prior experience working in a similar SSC/multinational environment may be advantageous but is not essential
    • Experience using Oracle, SharePoint and MS Office


    • Process all active payrolls on a weekly, fortnightly or monthly basis as required
    • Use case management software to capture, investigate and respond within timescales to queries and actions (employee, business, HR).
    • Ensure compliance with requirements from Revenue, Pensions and other third party benefit providers
    • Ensure team and individual targets and KPI’s achieved
    • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with staff across the organisation regarding the correct recording of employee data and payments and deductions relating to employees
    • Input and preparation of reports and commentary around payroll
    • Champion excellent customer service within the team and wider unit
    • Demonstrate commitment to the company and daa Shared Services vision, purpose and goals and live the daa values daily
