    An exciting opportunity has arisen for a HR Advisor within the iHR team at daa. The iHR team was launched in 2015 with the objective of centralising key HR activities and administration. The HR Advisor is the first point of contact for HR queries raised by customers via the telephone or online and is responsible for providing a range of dedicated HR advice and support to managers and employees within the daa. The successful candidate will also provide support for all our key HR processes. This is an excellent opportunity for some-one seeking to further develop their HR career. This role will be appointed on a 12 month contract basis and will be based at Dublin Airport.



    • Familiarity with a HR Shared Services operation would be a distinct advantage
    • CIPD HR Qualification or equivalent
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook).
    • Strong attention to detail, combined with a high degree of accuracy.
    • Good organisation skills, customer focus and the ability to multi-task and prioritise
    • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Demonstrated ability to handle and maintain confidential and sensitive information.
    • Excellent communication skills and ability to build trust, rapport and credibility within the business.

    • Acting as the first point of contact for HR queries raised by customers via the telephone or through the case management system on the HR portal.
    • Owning, managing and resolving all cases raised by managers and employees.
    • Coaching, counselling and guiding managers on HR policy queries.
    • Partnering with Payroll to ensure transactions are processed and cases closed on time.
    • Delivering on HR KPI’s and SLA’s ensuring performance levels are maintained both individually and as a team.
    • Providing support to the Centres of Excellence and HR Transformation Teams as required for key projects such as the reward cycles, recruitment campaigns, organisational changes, performance management, personnel files project, exit interviews, HRIS project etc.
    • Managing the relationship of our Occupational Health Provider
    • Advising HRBP’s on pay and other remuneration activities and liaising with Reward for approvals.
    • Maintaining and adding to the ‘Search iHR’ database and utilising it to build self-service knowledge on the HR portal.
    • Liaising with external HR suppliers and vendors who provide customer service on behalf of the daa.
    • Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and elimination of waste and implementing such initiatives to completion.
    • Analysing case management data to identify trends and using information to support upskilling of managers, information sessions for employees and uploading additional information to the HR Portal.
    • Supporting the transition of new processes and services into the iHR Team as required.
    • Coming up with innovative ways to promote the iHR Service to employees and delivering accordingly
