    Business Support Executive

    Dublin Airport Standards & Terminal Operations 

     

    An exciting opportunity has arisen within Dublin Airport Operations. The Business Support Executive will play a pivotal role supporting the Standards and Terminals Operations team achieve business targets. Reporting to the Head of Terminals Standards & Planning this role will be responsible for the provision of analytical, project management and support within the function.

     

    Projects / Tasks will include, Benchmarking against competitor airports on cleaning standards, Taxi & Trolley standards, customer service proposition etc. Reviewing and implementing operational plans to enable the delivery of a successful high performing passenger experience to 40 million passengers.     

     

    The role-holder will also be an ambassador for Operations within Dublin Airport, both internally and externally. This role will be appointed on a personal contract basis.

     

    Qualifications

    • Third level qualification with relevant business content or equivalent business experience
    • Ability to produce high quality analytical and presentation materials, as well as the ability to question, challenge and think independently
    • Project management experience
    • Knowledge of the aviation market and airport operations would be a distinct advantage.
    • Confident communicator (verbal and written) with a proven ability to communicate effectively at all levels
    • Highly motivated with strong work ethic
    • Ability to deal professionally with internal or external clients
    • Self-starter with a proven ability to meet targets
    • Commitment to daa values

    Responsibilities

    • Researching, collating and conducting analysis to assist and deliver functional requirements for Dublin Airports Terminal and Landside team.
    • Research and Benchmark to identify process and operational improvements for Dublin Airports Terminals and Landside teams
    • Research and Benchmark to identify the appropriate standards are in place and reported against across all Dublin Airports Terminals and Landside teams
    • Perform tasks relating to various elements within different work streams
    • Meeting management including scheduling, organising, minuting, capturing, tracking and progressing action items
    • Project management
    • Managing a work programme on a day-to-day basis.
    • Liaising with and managing the relationship with key internal and external stakeholders and pursuing actions.
    • Supporting and implementing improvements relating to Dublin Airport Operations and improving overall passenger experience
    • Creating beneficial partnerships with external companies
    • Research relating to organisational/operational matters and report findings. Investigate any failure areas, identify and implement solutions
    • Drive technology within Operations to improve efficiencies and continuous improvement utilising all inhouse systems such as BILS & TARGIT
    • Play an active role in business continuity including documenting SOP’s, Process Flow Charts, Process Diagrams.
    • Prepare reports and presentations
    • Participate in, as required, cross-functional teams in support of the above role objectives
