Overview

Asset Management forms part of the wider Infrastructure function at Dublin Airport. The purpose of this department and team is to operate & maintain the assets of Dublin Airport. Applications are now open for Technicians to support a modernised approach to the technical asset management of facilities and systems in line with the vision of “keeping people moving through engineering excellence”.

 

Reporting to the relevant Asset Management Manager or delegate, the primary focus of this role is to provide technical, administrative, and people leadership to asset management’s cross-functional teams, supporting the operation and maintenance of all systems and assets at Dublin Airport.

 

This role is across a 24/7 roster. 

Qualifications

  • Relevant technical qualification (National Craft Certificate/Standards Based Apprenticeship) in MAMF/Fitter Turner or equivalent.
  • Practical, logical aptitude for electrical & mechanical systems maintenance.
  • Demonstrable understanding of the building services operations & associated systems.
  • Excellent practical demonstrable fault finding and trouble-shooting capability.
  • Strong communication skills both written and oral. (For H&S reasons, fluent English is essential due to nature.
  • of radio communications).
  • PC literate, particularly MS Office.
  • Proven track record of excellent team working/interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to adapt and be flexible in a constantly changing environment.
  • Knowledge of PM optimization desirable.
  • Committed to daa values.

Responsibilities

  • Working in a multi-skilled environment support, operate and maintain all DAP assets as required.
  • Ownership for the performance and uptime of the engineering systems & equipment assigned to the individual & team by delivering a comprehensive planned maintenance regime.
  • Reactive maintenance and repairs on all assets within the AM remit as directed by the Team Lead.
  • Maintain a clean & healthy work environment in all asset areas (cleaning, vacuuming, removal of waste, used lamps, filters etc.).
  • Produce and maintain comprehensive, timely, records and documentation to support asset performance metrics and ensure equipment/system availability targets are achieved.
  • Demonstrate clear, concise and prompt communication skills on system issues both within Asset Management and when liaising with other internal/external stakeholders, to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our assets to provide an excellent level of customer service.
  • Utilisation of systems and technologies to enhance performance and record keeping.
  • Use of CMMS for the generation and recording of all planned, reactive, and arising corrective works to include recording of timecards, escalations and full completion of appropriate workflows, to improve the performance of the system’s reliability and internal processes.
  • Safely & competently operate engineering related equipment as required.
  • Promote, report on and participate in a positive H&S culture, across initiatives, audits, incident reporting and safety checks and actively challenge those who would negatively impact on H&S and quality standards.
