Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Terminal Product Lead, reporting to the Terminals Product Manager.

Within a new operating model, we have an opportunity to step change the passenger and airline product delivery for Dublin Airport Operations, reimagining and redesigning how we deliver excellent services within both Terminals. 

 

This role exists to support and understand the customer experiences of our passengers and airlines inside our terminals and to continuously look to improve our product. This is a great opportunity to stretch yourself, develop new skills, build an in-depth knowledge of operations and a greater understating of our entire business. The ideal candidate is looking to progress a challenging expansive managerial position within the organisation.

Qualifications

  • Highly motivated with strong work ethic.
  • Impeccable attention to detail and proven ability to deliver high quality output to challenging timelines.
  • Data Driven – can put numerical literacy to all stages of process and outputs.
  • Skilled communicator - Ability to influence internal stakeholders and external service providers & partners (both management and ground operations) to drive positive change.
  • Strong customer service ethos and ability to establish positive relationships with stakeholders/partners.
  • Knowledge of the aviation market and airport operations would be a distinct advantage.
  • MS Office Skills – Advanced e.g., MS Office Specialist – essential.
  • Project Membership/Management/Software experience – desirable.
  • Committed to daa value & leadership standards.

Responsibilities

  • Identify primary and secondary gaps in the Service we deliver to our customers.
  • Understand the consumer base – both current and future and journey map all relevant persona’s to better understand customer mindset.
  • Assist the Terminal Product manager to execute plans to close the relevant gaps.
  • Liaise with key internal and external stakeholders and formulate a plan to log and resolve key action items.
  • Carry out research relating to all organisational/operational matters with the terminals.
  • Maintain a database of up-to-date research relevant to innovation that are aligned to Operations business objectives.
  • Identify and benchmark best practice for product delivery.
  • Investigate any failure areas, identify, and implement solutions.
  • Support the wider team by performing tasks relating to various elements within different work streams in Dublin Airport Operations.
  • Creating beneficial partnerships with external companies.
  • Communicate and work closely with colleagues to ensure sharing of information and an effective, aligned approach.
  • Provide business with updates on project improvements while recording and communicating any risks or Issues that may impact project deadlines.
