Contracts Co-Ordinator

Overview

The purpose of this role is to co-ordinate the performance management of Dublin Airport contracts. The role will be responsible for the management of the performance management process and the maintenance of the performance records for each contracted service. The role will also work with the Contacts Manager in leading a framework approach to the management of these contracts in partnership with local teams and the Procurement team to effectively operational performance and value for money from contracts through their life cycle.

Qualifications

  • Co-ordinate the performance management of contracted services worth over €16* million annually, with personal responsibility for the performance and value for money of contracts delivering over €2.5* million worth of services annually.
  • Develop and maintain performance records for each contract. This will include, but not be limited to, developing Service Level Agreements and scorecard documents.
  • Support the delivery of the strategic plan for Dublin Airport contracts.
  • Develop and maintain the contracts pipeline process to ensure that timelines are achieved, tender requirements are clear, target driven and measurable.
  • Ensure that any proposed increases to cost are validated, for accuracy and relevance, and that all changes to scope are negotiated to ensure best value.
  • Work with suppliers to ensure the achievement of the agreed service standards and delivery of outsourced services.
  • Complete the monthly invoice process including associated financial reporting.
  • Manage the outsourced waste management contract, ensuring the achievement of waste segregation and cost targets in line with the Dublin Airport Strategy.
  • Ensure that SOP’s, contingency plans, business continuity procedures and training plans are in place and tested across all contracts to deliver resiliency within the 24/7 airport operation.
  • Benchmark against other airports, suppliers, and industries to ensure best practice and best value solutions are implemented by suppliers at Dublin Airport throughout the life cycle of each contract.
  • Collaborate with daa Group functions including finance, legal, risk and insurance to align contract terms with daa Group requirements.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar position.
  • Experience ensuring successful delivery of Service Level Agreements.
  • Experience developing tender documents and the public procurement process.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and manage relationships across multiple business functions.
  • Experience of working with, managing, and influencing, management and stakeholders.
  • Experience in process improvement and optimisation.
  • Experienced negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Experienced analytical, numeracy and reasoning skills.
  • Resilient, with the ability to work and deliver under pressure; handles conflict and ambiguity well.
  • Relevant third level qualification or 2 years equivalent work experience.
  • Third level qualification with relevant business content or equivalent business experience.
  • May Be required to assist with task forces from time to time.
