daa has invested significantly to deploy EDS Standard 3 detection capabilities to screen hold baggage at Dublin and Cork airports. We are currently upgrading the capability of our security equipment in this area to further improve our compliance standards. Implementing a fully compliant hold baggage screening operation is of critical importance to daa.   In order to further assure the daa Head of Security Compliance and the daa Airport Security Manager, daa now needs to deploy a compliance oversight specialist in this area.   The role of this Compliance specialist will be to conduct Audits, Inspections, Surveys and to assist with Covert Testing of the entire HBS system, including on the training of HBS screeners. The specialist in this role will also become a compliance subject matter expert on all security equipment compliance requirements and will contribute fully as a member of the compliance team to ensure that the security programmes at both Dublin and Cork airports are compliant.   This will involve delivering inspections, audits and observations of both programmes when scheduled. The role holder will assist with the HBS testing programme under the guidance of covert testing personnel within the Group Security function.   The role holder will be required to run quarterly compliance workshops with HBS Mgt, Supervisors and with screeners to review compliance report trending. This output of these workshops will be to: - Advise on the updating of relevant SOPs as required. - Ensure that training material is updated, improved, and amended as required.   Build confidence within the screening teams regarding the consistent and confident implementation of complex screening requirements, regardless of location on behalf of daa.

The Airport Delivery Team Member will manage and ensure appropriate Dublin Airport facilities are available, that all airport functions are operating to a high level and will provide passengers with the appropriate information and assistance whilst adhering to Airport standards.   Team Members will embrace the role as ‘the face of Dublin Airport’ conveying a professional, helpful, friendly attitude and service to all Dublin Airport users. Team Members will rotate between duties as required on a roster basis and will operate crossterminal, ramp and campus wide. Tasks are allocated based on demand, and team members will be required to be agile and move from areas/ tasks, as directed by on shift supervision. Supporting the wider operation will at times be necessary in order to carry out any changes in the plan that arise during the shift.   These roles are shift based roles and will provide 24/7 coverage throughout the airport.   Hourly rate for the role is currently €16.14 (inclusive of shift pay)
