An opportunity exists for an ambitious and talented economist to join the Pricing and Economic Regulation team and drive a range of cross functional projects relevant to the regulation of Dublin Airport. The successful candidate will engage strategically with key departments within Dublin Airport, liaise with airlines and other key stakeholders, and produce compelling evidence-based submissions to CAR.   The Pricing and Economic Regulation team is responsible for designing competitive airport charges for the use of the runway, passenger servicing, parking and other key infrastructure a Dublin Airport. This team is also preparing for the next regulatory determination period 2020-2024 in which the Commission for Aviation Regulation (CAR) will revisit the appropriate price cap and provide an infrastructural allowance to Dublin Airport for necessary expansion over this period.   All applications should be submitted by Wednesday 3rd January 2018.

Reporting to the Head of Training, daa Aviation Security Training Organisation, an excellent opportunity has arisen for a Security Training Instructors. The Security Training Instructor will provide modular training, advanced instruction, examine in the competencies for screener certification and provide on-going support to Aviation Security Screeners and Supervisory/Team Lead staff members in all aspects of training. The role holder will provide training support to Duty Sergeants in Cork Airport and work cross-functionally to deliver Security training to daa employees outside of Security as required.   This role is based in Dublin but there will be a requirement to travel to Cork airport and locations outside of Dublin airport to deliver training. This appointment is subject to achieving and retaining IAA certified instructor and examiner status, and attending and completing appropriate training courses as required.
