The HR Advisor is the first point of contact for HR queries raised by customers via the telephone or online and is responsible for providing a range of dedicated HR advice and support to managers and employees within the daa. ARI Planning Function
The Global Merchandise Planning function was introduced into ARI just a year ago to determine and implement the best ways of managing inventory levels within the business globally, maximising sales, profit and return on investment on our stocks. The Merchandise Planning function is a specialised, high profile, performance focussed team that works with ARI business units across the globe to provide timely, optimum and precise levels of stock to support sales potential, whilst rigorously managing aged inventory.
This permanent demand planning role sits as part of a team of five reporting directly to the Head of Global Planning & Forecasting (all based in ARI’s head office in Grattan House, Dublin 17). In this role you will work to deliver optimum stock levels in ARI business units to meet forecasted demand and minimise excess stock holdings and aged stock. You will support the Category team in planning and forecasting demand at brand and vendor level and constantly strive to achieve and lead best practice in demand planning and forecasting.
A varied and challenging opportunity has arisen for a Governance Manager, reporting to the Chief Governance and Strategy Officer with daa. The role holder will be responsible for governance across the daa Group, providing oversight and guidance to the business on governance matters and managing requirements of Boards, Board Subcommittees and Shareholder. An excellent opportunity has arisen for Head of Security Policy & Risk Management for Dublin & Cork Airports. This position will report into the Airport Security Manager & Group Head of Security. This role is based in Dublin but there will be a requirement to travel to Cork Airport.

ARI Buying Function
ARI has established a high performing Buying team based across our global business. We have split buying into three main categories – Beauty, Liquor & Tobacco and Souvenirs/Accessories. Each category is then broken down by region – Europe and North America, Middle East and APAC. A large portion of the Global Buying team sits in ARI’s Head Office in Dublin, Ireland but we also have local Buyers based onsite in each region. The Buying team has the responsibility to build and develop on the current success of the business and ensure that the exciting plans, objectives and profitable revenues of the company are achieved by implementing an effective category and product strategy in each location.
This Global Buying Manager role in Auckland
This is a newly created Global Buying Manager role established due to ARI’s continued growth in the APAC region. Reporting directly to the Global Head of Beauty who is based in Ireland you will be responsible for implementing ARI’s global strategy for Beauty (Perfume and Cosmetics) within the region. You will work with local management to drive the business forward as well as liaising with General Managers in the airports to ensure that ARI is leveraging its global scale from a commercial perspective. As the most senior Buyer in the APAC region you will also act as a mentor to the team of three buyers working across all categories currently based in Auckland.
Within the region ARI currently manage businesses based in airports in Auckland and Jakarta. This role is based in Auckland airport but you would travel to Jakarta as required (likely every 6-8 weeks on average). This is a great role for a talented, ambitious buying professional who would like to work in a truly global organisation. You would be joining an experienced, high performing global buying team and will work in a best in class Retail Buying structure. This role currently manages circa 130 million NZD in sales across Auckland and Jakarta and this will likely expand over the coming years as ARI has concrete plans to expand into new airports across the APAC region (and is currently tendering for business).

This is a newly created role and you will have the opportunity to make an immediate impact within the business and your work will be highly visible to senior level stakeholders within the global business.
The Head of Shared Services within daa (based in Limerick) is a senior role with overall responsibility for directing the operation and ongoing development of daa’s Shared Services operation. Based in Limerick, the Shared Services unit (with 60+ FTEs) has responsibility for the management and continuous improvement of key daa financial and business processes including Revenue and Accounts Receivable, Employee Services, Payroll, Accounts Payable, Fixed Asset Register maintenance, General Ledger management and transactional support around financial month end close and the budgeting and forecasting processes.
The key objective of this role is to ensure the delivery of timely and quality service to the Business Units within daa and to promote and drive process change, innovation and thought leadership in the organisation through the initiation, management and delivery of continuous improvement projects and ongoing process and policy reviews and enhancements.
Note that this position is based out of Limerick but will require travel to Dublin and Cork.

daa SSC in Limerick
Dublin Airport Authority (daa) employs 3,300 people at its Irish airports and has a further 800 people working for its international businesses. We have a specialist Finance Shared Service centre based in the National Technology Business Park in Limerick (directly beside the University of Limerick) where over 60 employees are based in various teams specialising in Accounts Payable, Billing and Revenue Assurance, Financial Reporting, Customer Service, Employee Services & Payroll and Workforce Support. The campus is located just 6 km east of Limerick City on the Dublin Road and parking is available onsite.
These exciting roles are arising from a strategic decision to migrate procurement administration tasks from Group Procurement to Shared Services.
Daa plc and Its subsidiary Aer Rianta International cpt contract for spend of over 0.25 billion on an annual basis. The new procurement administration roles will work closely with group procurement and also the Payables and Expenses and Financial Reporting teams in Shared Services.
The role will initially focus on the successful migration of the procurement admin tasks to SSC and once migrated the focus will be on Continuous Improvement and enhancement of the processes. These roles will initially be offered as a 24-month contract.
As part of the Operational Safety team, this role will support the coordination of airside Safety Management System (SMS) and safety assurance activities at Dublin Airport in accordance with the airside SMS manual.
The Airside Safety Assurance Officer reports to the Airside Safety and Compliance Manager as part of the Operational Safety team. The primary responsibility will be to work with the Airside Safety Compliance Manager and the Airside Safety Assurance Co-Ordinator to continuously improve and develop the airside safety management systems at Dublin airport. This will involve the day to day tracking of occurrence reporting and investigation processes including follow up with 3rd parties. The management reporting of safety occurrence statistics and response to key trends.
This role will also provide support in the development and drafting of Airside Safety policies, procedures and training as required in collaboration with the relevant airport personnel.
daa is seeking to recruit a Planner to join its Planning team at an exciting time in advance of the next Capital Development Programme at Dublin Airport.
Reporting to the Head of Planning, the successful candidate will work across a range of projects of an operational, commercial, infrastructural and environmental nature. The position available will offer the successful candidate the opportunity to work on a wide variety of challenging projects.

Reporting to the Airport Retail Manager, you will be part of a team responsible for effectively managing and supporting the operation across a department on a shift basis thus ensuring all activity is aligned towards achieving sales and operational objectives driving sales, PAS and customer experience on a shift basis. You will maximize sales and productivity by implementing the category strategy from Central Support teams. You will ensure that retail team members deliver a great customer experience through strategies such as Shift Excellence, visual presentation by liaising with the Display and Cat-Man teams, operations and loss prevention standards in line with our ARI processes and procedures.
Key to this role is achieving sales budgets through execution of visual merchandising guidelines, planograms and 5S’s while embedding a ‘customer before task’ ethos by motivating and coaching staff using ARI Selling Skills as the lever.
We are currently recruiting for two permanent Airport Retail Manager roles.
The main purpose of the position is to lead and motivate the team on any given shift across all categories/departments to maximise sales for the direct retail business for ARI in Dublin Airport. You will be accountable for a terminal wide approach to ensure that the retail operations team performs to the highest level both in terms of customer service and in terms of driving Sales and PAS on a shift basis.
