Reporting to the Deputy Head of Training, daa ASTO, an excellent opportunity has arisen for a Permanent Security Training Instructor.   The purpose of this role is to work as part of a team delivering and developing security training programmes to all daa employees and third parties as required. All training will be delivered and recorded in accordance with current NCASP and EU training requirements. The successful candidate will also examine in all competencies required for IAA certification.   This role is based in Dublin Airport but there may be a requirement to travel and work in locations outside of Dublin Airport to deliver training and certification. This appointment is subject to achieving and retaining IAA certified instructor and approved examiner status. The successful candidate will be required to work a roster that gives cover seven days a week over a number of different shift patterns. 365 days of the year.   Please note as well as the appointments, a panel may be formed as part of this campaign.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a recent business or accountancy graduate to join our Finance team and work towards completing your professional accounting qualifications as part of our Graduate Programme.    Each of our four key business units of the daa Group have their own finance capability, supplemented by our Group Finance team, and the shared services team in Limerick.   It is envisaged that this role will work periodically within the Group Finance team but also within the business unit finance teams. As part of your development you will assist with 1) the production of the monthly group accounts and various reports 2) the preparation, posting of journals at month end, and  other account analysis 3) Supporting on a variety of reporting deliverables – month end reports, year-end board reports, annual general meeting reports etc.4) Preparing year-end financial statements including supporting schedules for internal and external review 5) supporting the business unit and Group financial planning, analysis and budgeting process and formulation and review of business plans 6) other ad hoc roles that may arise within Group Finance or within the business units including assistance with formulation of business cases or other financial analysis.   Through planned rotations you will also gain exposure to our tax and treasury teams, our international business and our business partnering finance teams. You will work on a variety of interesting, challenging projects and work streams that will see you interact with different areas of our business building your personal brand and engaging with a wide range of stakeholder’s, preparing you for leadership roles in the future.

Working within the daa Infrastructure Department for Dublin and Cork, the Sustainability Manager will provide strategic thinking, advice and guidance to the Contracting Entity as well as overseeing and assuring the designs being carried out by the various design teams with respect to sustainability requirements. The Manager will be required to work with and support the various design disciplines across the Programmes and will serve a key co-ordination role in ensuring there is a consistent approach to the implementation of sustainability standards in the designs and contract documentation.

Airfield Specialists Operative work in the Airside Management Department. The role reports directly to the Airfield Facilities Manager and will carry out both planned and reactive maintenance on a diverse range of airfield & landside infrastructural assets including runways, taxiways, aprons pavement, airfield paint markings, footpaths, roads, grasslands, drainage infrastructure, security fence, boundary gates in Ireland’s busiest airport to ensure safe and efficient operations at all times.   In addition to the above the team provides support during the winter season and is an integral part of the Dublin Airport Winter Operations team responsible for ensuring the safe and timely clearance of contamination to pavements during winter operations. The team is also the Dublin Airport aircraft recovery response team and have aided in the recovery of a number of disabled aircraft at Dublin Airport over the last 10 year as well as at both Cork and Shannon Airports.

There are a number of upcoming roles within Terminals and Landside for Airport Cleaning Team Members – Trolley Driving.   The primary focus of the Airport Cleaning Team Member – Trolley Driving will manage and ensure appropriate Dublin Airport facilities are available, that all airport functions are operating to a high level and will provide passengers with the appropriate information and assistance whilst adhering to Airport standards.   Successful candidates will report directly to the Service Delivery Team Leaders.  Team members will embrace the role, becoming the ‘face of Dublin Airport’ to convey a professional, helpful, friendly attitude and service to all Dublin Airport users.   Team members will rotate between duties on a roster basis and will operate cross-terminal and campus wide.  Tasks are allocated based on demand, and team members will be required to be agile and move from areas / tasks, as directed by on-shift supervision, responding to any changes in the plan during a shift.   These roles are shift based roles and will provide 24/7 coverage throughout the airport.
