The Programme Controls Lead (PCL) is responsible for managing daa’s commercial exposure on all aspects of programme delivery, managing, monitoring, and reporting on performance in respect of cost, schedule, and risk. The role will involve development and leadership of the Programme Controls Team, incorporating Lead Cost, Lead Schedule, and Lead Risk resources, with supporting resources as required. In addition, the PCL will co-ordinate the key interface and integration with the Contracts Team.   The PCL must be comfortable leading a team, developing, and implementing sustainable programme controls processes, influencing Contractors and Trade Partners, and driving a best-in-class programme controls culture across the programme.   The PCL will be required to regularly engage with the daa executive team on key issues and will have the ability to influence upwards to secure critical decisions in a timely manner to enable the programme of projects to run smoothly.   The PCL will also be involved in discussing and agreeing changes in team structure with the Programme Director. They will be fully responsible for the performance management of staff, secondments and consultants involved in the Programme Controls teams. They will provide leadership to the intermediate and junior members of the programme teams and will be closely involved in mentoring the next generation of managers in line with the succession planning structure.

The role involves structured completion of planned, reactive, and emergency maintenance on various airfield and campus assets, ensuring safe and efficient airport operations. Compliance with NSAI, ICAO Annex 14, EASA standards, and ICAO Service Manuals is paramount.   Reporting to the relevant Asset Management Team Lead the primary focus of this role is to operate and maintain all systems and assets at Dublin Airport. Over the next ten years Dublin Airport intends to invest over €2.9bn in its infrastructure. This infrastructure will grow the capacity of the airport, while continuing to improve the passenger experience, airport efficiency and sustainability.   An important part of this programme of work will be the successful delivery of Dublin Airport’s residential insulation, grant, and voluntary purchase programmes. The first is to manage the retail store design process from inception to completion associated with new and existing stores across our global locations. The second is to support the business development team when responding to tenders and providing high quality retail store design proposals.
